I would prefer something REALLY simple, maybe a sweet? Or could I take a store bought cake? Would that seem uncaring and tacky? I love these people and would hate to make them think of me not being there with them, versus being in a kitchen slaving over something for hours, and then I would miss being with them, and isnt that the whole point?

i am a nigerian and not a muslim but i beleive if you give them money as a gift enclosed with a card that would show that you truly cares. since you not a nigerian, they would understand and will welcome you with an open arm. take care
