He is so negative , angered and thoughtless in his opinions of anyone that disagrees with him . Isn't he part of the problem ?.

Chirs C , I liaten to Rush a lot and have agreeded with him on a lot of issues , but I have heard him go off on people that have a different point of view and it's not very flattering to hear him screaming and ranting . . I think it hurts and turns away some Republicans that I have talked to .

I think he's intelligent enough that he could get his point across just as easily WITHOUT demeaning and criticizing people with opposing views.
Even though in some ways I agree with SOME of his points, I've stopped listening to him because of his negativity, anger, and disrespect.
So, in answer to your question, I think he's part of the problem that's causing such a deep divide between political parties.

Rush isn't hurting the Republican party. The Republican party is hurting the Republican party as they have acted like Democrats over the ultimate 8-years. Six of those years, the Republican party had the capacity to get rid of pork, earmarks, push out particular interest, restoration the tax equipment, and freshen up corruption. They ignored the boat on those important subject matters. i believe Obama received not because human beings position self assurance in his regulations, yet they are mad on the Republican party for not walking the communicate. The Republican party receives yet another chance as Obama's economic plan will push this u . s . a . into economic slavery to China. even as this happens, the Republicans more effective perfect pay interest to the voters and do as they require or the Libertarian party has a good chance of growing to be.

The mouthbreathers answering here on his defense are never going to be able to give or receive anything but hate. But know that the real Republicans are ashamed of him and I know this because I have some real Republican friends and family. I just don't rub their noses into the fact that they are not listening to him anymore.

1. I don't think what he said harmed anything. Do you even know what he said?
2. He is not negative or angry at all. His show is often humorous and informative.
3. Rush disagreed with MJF's manipulation of his audience by taking too much medication which increased his tremors. Rush also pointed out that MJF's assertion that Jim Talent was against stem cell research was FALSE. Jim Talent supports ADULT stem cell research, not EMBRYONIC. Embryonic stem cells have been an utter failure and use embryos as spare parts.

Rush Limbaugh is a radio talk show host, and will say and do whatever it takes to gain rating points.period. He is not a republican spokesman, nor is he a conservative demagogue, he is simply trying to make money for his station as a shock jock, just like Howard stern.
