May I suggest, that if it is a kitten, you don't do a thing. It's not proper, you don't shave a child's head until it's at least 3. Kitten's need their hair to protect their skin from the elements. I would suggest waiting until it's a year old then take it too a petsmart or a groomer. They will do the right thing. Otherwise what you will do will be abusive to the kitten.
