Is it me or does the backing track of Blue Monday sound suspiciously like the backing track from track 5-8-6 on Power, Corruption and Lies?

It's possible, as Blue Monday was written with the sole purpose of testing their new roland drum machine.
Besides, what does it matter, it's their own song anyway, and they certainly wouldn;t have been the first to have a similar sounding song to another of theirs, and they certainly won;t be the last

I don't believe so, but thanks for getting me back into their music on my i-pod. "Thieves Like Us" is my personal fave.
