Socialism is definately in line with liberal views. The problem is that the liberals aren't able to see that.

Conservatism is nothing like facism and shouldn't lead to it. But ask yourself something: Where should you draw the line to protect the citizens of this country? If you were president and had the responsibility of preventing terrorism what steps would you take? Until you can rationally answer that you have no right to say what is being done is wrong. I presonally cannot answer it.

Fascism is a government and big business club while the people suffer atrocities that support business interests by government passing laws and raising taxes to provide an ongoing market for businesses' interests. Fascism uses the ruse of lawful codes or acts to further businesses' wealth. The people soon become more impoverished. Socialism does afford free medical care and free education and free retirement programs. Sometimes subsidized costs of mortgages for the people such as in Kuwait.

I'd say fascism is more in line with conservative views, especially lately.

Communism and Facism are essentially opposite viewpoints, they share some common ground in execution however.
