If it's chain-link (and I can't see it being anything else) wire-cutters will do the job in 2 shakes of a lamb's tail. What use is fence with holes in it? Sounds a waste to me.

It's being constructed out of our tax dollars whether the useless thing is ever really built or not! Eskie lover, they have already allocated over half a billion of our money for this fake fence! If you want to see how well fences work head to San Diego and look at the one that was built there out of sheet metal (full of holes) or El Paso's chain link stupidity (yep, wire cutters). Fence is only good for the fat cat corporations that get to overcharge the feds for construction (and roll some of the profits into 'campaign' contributions)!
Now go to Del Rio where all the local officials got together and cut the illegals down to near zero by skipping the fence idiocy and instead actually *enforce* the law by arresting, trying and jailing the illegals! Get caught-no free ride across the river, three weeks in jail on first offense and longer sentences for repeat offenders! BTW; Border Patrol agents just capture-turn over to local cops-then go capture more! Not the usual catch one and spend a day filling out paperwork! Major problem with this approach is no 'campaign' contributions

Well, right now it will be constructed out of a lot of hot air. If you notice, no funding for the fence was included. Without money, it is all just talk.

I hope they use razor wire w/ 220 voltage wire attached. Maybe that will shock the next ones into not climb it or cut it or dig under it.

they going to have laser satilite deathrays that will zap anyone who tries to cross the border illegally and will burn down into tunnels and zap them too, and then on slow days it will pluck off a few in the cities just for fun
