Some friends (all girls) and I went to the beach for Fall Break and had a good time. We were planning on going back to the beach for Spring Break, but this time, I wanted to bring some guys along to make things more interesting. However, one of my friends (who went last time) says it is against her beliefs to go on a trip where there will be guys, who are unrelated to her, staying in the same house. I told her last night that one of my friends, who is a guy would probably be coming and she acted really dejected (got really quiet and sulky). When I asked her about it she said she didn't mind and that it was her problem, but I feel really bad now. What should I do? Should I just let it ride or talk to her about it?

In my opinion i think you should respect her wishes, if someone has a belief about something you just have to respect that. I mean try to put yourself in her position. And if you really want to take a guy on a trip that plan a separate one for you and the guys. Either way have fun!

I would talk to her about it. If you decide not to bring the guys to the beach...well u will be at the beach, there should be a ton of guys to keep it interesting while u are there. Good friends are hard to come by and the guys in your life will come and go. Try to repsect your friends feelings but also let her know how u feel.

that what you are proposing is like mixing gasoline and ethyl alcohol and then trying to light a cigarette, if you are not careful, the whole thing will blow up in your face. in a unisex atmosphere, it should stay that way unless everyone agrees ahead of time. even so your friend is politely telling you that you are violating the groups idea of sanctuary, NO males Allowed PERIOD.

well first of all, you need to get your prorities straight. would you rather have a fun gals week and respect your friends wishes? or have your friend go against her belief's and attend, but have it awkard the whole time? Either way, its your choice, but just think about what is more important.

I WOULD TALK TO HER AND SEE WHAT SHE SAYS ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. IF YOU WANT TO STILL GO WITH GUYS THAN I THINK YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO CHANGE PLANS JUST SO SHE WOULD GO..... I WOULD STILL GO IT WOULD JUST BE SOMETHING SHE MISSED OUT ON...
GOOD LUCK
