With my last pregnancy, I had cancer. I was also on bed rest, had monitors hooked into my phones lines etc. At Christmas time I talked to my doctor about shopping. This was very important to me. Note: My Doctor is a high risk specialist with a unbelievable reputation. She said I could do as much shopping as I wanted but I had to be in a wheel chair. ;-)
It was great! Not only did I get to do all my Christmas shopping, I was able to do it quicker than most because people were so very cautious to me because of the wheel chair. So...it actually kept baby and me safe and we didn't have to hustle through the crowds.
I will definitely admit. The first couple times I was embarrassed, knowing my legs worked fine but after a while that just went away.
Good Luck!

I use the Pink Graco one from Target. Its great. You can hold up to 40lbs in the bottom storage, the wheels are easy to use and tough through the park, the mall, its easy to take the car seat on and off, it came with a car seat base, ummm theres drink holders there is a headrest for the girl. It has latch also. The only thing that bugs me is the big girl part reclines but it does not sit up absolutly straight.

If you can get to KMart tomorrow, there's a really cute travel system on sale for $89 the sale ends 10/28. It has a cute little teddy bear on it and a plaid design. Or try walmart. They have a few cute and reliable ones for under $150.

Go to amazon.com, then go to the baby section, then gear, then travel systems and you can check them out by price and brand.
