does sex mess with your periods?

after a month where i was really sexually active...then i get my period..i get really bad cramps and its heavier than usual...but then months when im not as sexually active...its like nothin....is that normal?

Yes, after you have sex your body produces more uterus lining incase you are going to have a baby, but trust me this is toatlly normal. Good luck in any aspect of your future. I hope that I helped.
