We need to dig this infectious virus out by the roots before it goes any further.

We have become a nation of pansies. Being PC has gone way past being correct or the right thing to do. Childhood games like tag aren't a detriment to growing up healthy and well adjusted. It's madness.

My friends and I took tag to extremes. We actually used to shoot each other with BB guns when we were 11 or 12. No adults had to stop us. We realized ourselves how dangerous and stupid it was. Luckily no one was struck in the eye.

We have to trust our kids.

We've become what we always were...afraid to just be who we are. It's really sad that things like this are happening, and personally it makes me want to pack up and just live on the road or something, teach my daughter about the world by being in it. Kids feel left out these days because there aren't as many adults willing to stand up for them. If we don't teach our kids some common sense and how to be caring people, it will only get worse. There will always be someone better at something than they are, and always someone worse at something than they are. We need to encourage our kids to be people who will know the difference between playing a fun game and playing the real game of life. I hope that makes sense.....I'm not too good at these serious questions! :)

this is typical of a society trying to do everything correct and please everyone. It simply isn't possible.
Our governments are regulating everything so that we will stay safe That is a s s anine. No one gives a rat's a ** whether we get hurt, everyone is really only worried about being sued. How sad that it has come to this.
We shut our doors to our neighbours, ignore pleas for help on the streets and go merrily along our way thinking all is well.

People mostly get hurt because they don't think and are doing stupid things.

My kids had a halloween safety speech at school today. They laughed their asses off at it.
No masks, no shoes that came with a costume, no costume below the knees, plan a few houses to visit, make a route map, no walking in yards, only go to people you knows house. It was the stupidest idea of halloween ever. We go trick or treating in a full blown costume and run lilke wild around here. Its fun. I can't stand the dumbing down of our kids for safety's sake.

Oh my god.Seriously? That's just stupid. Tag is a game...I'm sorry but I think that has to be the silliest thing I've read for along time. It's like us(England) with our political correctness...it's all gone silly now. Kids play tag....I played tag when I was a kiddie...sorry.... *leaves shaking her head*
