For example, if you have 50 years of life left, would you trade the last 25 years so you could be a billionaire and a famous person for the next 25 years (if that was everything you wanted)?

Well, am I going to have another 50 years?? If yes, it's really really tempting. Wouldn't hurt if I got to truly live my life even just for 25 years.
But if I have another week to live, (maybe God intended me to die young, who knows?) no. I'll take every bit of my seven days even if I were having a miserable week.

What if your dreams do come true during half of the remaining years of your life? Then having less time to enjoy them would be a better choice?

Well for me, I value the quality of the time spent more than the quantity of time spent. But, what kind of life would it be to have everything laid out and predicted with no hardships? A boring life indeed.

Be careful what you wish for.
Blessings come with responsibility.
And the fabled boy who wished for all the money in the world and got it, soon found that no one else could use money and the whole world was rife with struggle and anger, all directed at him!

No, I'd rather live life with all its challenges and not be complacently bored.
I'd start too much trouble if I had nothing to work for!

well if i only have fifty years left i doubt it cause one of the things i want is to be married for fifty years and i'm getting married this year so i got to have fifty years left. Now if i had a hundred left i might trade the last fifty to have everything i want.

No. Because what if those last 25 years of life you aren't emotionally happy because I'm sure a lot of people you care about would be angry, and you will be lonely.

I would! I would trade half of my remaining years to be able to spend them with a person I loved who is gone now.

No way, I do not want to be famous, I love my privacy. And being that wealthy would have more trouble than it was worth. Money does not bring one happiness. And I love my life. God bless

YES! I have a terminal disease so it would be great to live for a short time with the funds to do anything you want. Going to die anyway might as well go out in style.

Nope, I'm pretty set right now. Can't think of anything else I'd really want other than my family and a job I like going to.
