Nitrous Oxide. Called the Supercharger in a bottle.
A good dry system can be bought on-line for $300 - $500.
You could add 50 - 75 HP. Even more if your are willing to risk breaking parts.
A dry nitrous system can be installed in an afternoon if you are handy with tools and can follow directions.
Exhaust system will give you 10 - 15 HP at best. Nitrous is better
Cold air will only get you about 15 HP. Nitrous is better.
Turbo charger or super charger can get you 50 - 100 HP. But costs $1000 - $2000. Nitrous is better
Heads, cam, intake and headers can get you more power. Very expensive. Nitrous is better.
A chip can give you about 25 more HP on a V6. It will cost you $150 or so. Nitrous is better.
Could swap out V6 for a 350. Expensive. Would be better off looking for a 350 Camaro instead.

Yes, this miracle horsepower that adds power without much work and at a low cost. The only things that are remotely "cheap" are changing pulleys, exhaust, throttle body, and maybe an msd box(not quite so cheap). For any real power increase you have to wrench a little.

the Simplest and Easiest??
Want about 10-20 more horsepower? Ok, its not good for your car, but it doesnt really matter as long as you dont drive over a dirt field or a sandy beach.
Remove the air filter. It allows way more air to pass into your motor. It works for about 15 hp. Try it, you will notice a difference instantly. a small difference, but a noticable one.

I hate to be harsh but trying to build power in a 13 year old Motor is a mistake. Result is almost always a KA BOOM! The V-6 cars had even more drawbacks small brakes drums in the rear and springs that were to weak. Supercharged 3.8 liter Pontiac GTP motor might work the best. 240 stock hp smaller pulley intercooler and cam you might get 300 out of the engine.

if it is an automatic, then you can put in a shorter clutch pulley. you can also use a performance chip. just plug it in and instantly adds up to 30 hp and a lot of torque.
