Me and my friend have been emailing each other about confidential things and we think her partner has managed to read one of my emails to her. We can't be certain but basically she was discussing her problems with me (mostly about him) and the things he's been saying to her suggests her knows what we've been discussing. Is it possible he could have over-ridden her password or hacked into her emails somehow? It's bugging us!

There are loads of tools for hacking E-mail file password protection. I legitimately had to use a tool when a person left the company and deliberately protected the file.

The site is called:
www.lostpassword.com
completely legitimate. BUT there are many freebies out there!!!

yeah it's definatly possible but unless he's really computer savy, (ie. he has some kind of degree in software or is like a hacker.) the most likely thing he did was just guessed her password if he has read any of her emails at all. If he had over-ridden her password you wouldnt be able to get into the account anymore because the password would be different. im talking about web based email here if its through an email client like outlook then obtaining the password would be considerably easier.

My advice, change your password, the snooper probably knows it,...or, if its web mail, the session she is in is not closing out, so when he uses the computer she has not logged off of the e-mail, if its outlook he can access it if he logs into her XP account--- change passwords where possible, e-mail and XP

well you could guess a password pretty easily if you know that person well but maybe he's perfectly aware of your problems anyway, if he's got a brain.

yes it is possible, he could have guessed her password, or he could change it by answering correctly her security question on yahoo.
