It is possible but unlikely... but remember... it is still possible... specially if your cycle is irregular

Yes, FEMALES, can.
This may sound gross, but think of your body as a house and the nest for a baby is made of blood. Every 28 OR SO days, the nest gets built in preparation for a tenant. When you don't have sex, then your unfulfilled and sad little eggs go rolling down and out of your body, and your nest EVENTUALLY falls apart, and becomes the blood flow. If you have sex before or during the time that the nest hasn't completely disintegrated, then a fertilized egg might stick to its little nest. It might not.
The best way to prevent a tenant from sticking is to keep about 2 feet from any male over the age of 8. Ten feet would be better.
Anything you try besides not having sex at all, is POSSIBLE to make you a mommy. Lots of girls end up mommies, to everyone's dismay, especially the baby, because they think the laws of nature don't apply to them, they prayed real hard, or they are "careful." or lucky.
It is ALL a crock!
Don't be careful. Be absolutely certain.
There are lots of fun things to do besides "penetration."

Yes....

During your period, the egg that was sitting there ready for fertilization is being 'ejected' (I think sluffed off was the term they used when they taught me).

So that egg is gone, no chance there.....

But, sperm isn't the swiftest thing in the world.... after all consider its source (hahaha). It really can take 2 weeks for that little sperm cell to find its way all the way up to where it needs to go, and what do you know? A new egg is sitting there ready to be fertilized.

There are timing methods to try to get pregnant, but if your trying not to get pregnant, use contraception. (and even then understand that the best forms of contraception are only 98% effective, still a chance)

although the ideal time for conception to take place is during ovulaiton, everyone is differnt nad everyones cycle is different... so if you have unprotected sex at any time, even during your period, there is always the risk of getting pregnant. The thing with having sex during your period is that there could be a egg still hanging around. Protect yourself at all times if you are not trying to get pregnant.

Sure. If you don't want to get pregnant then use protection or refrain from the act. If a sperm gets to an egg then a zygote is formed and in nine months yes you will be a mommy. Normally no, but it has happened before and will happen again.

Hun,the chances of that happening are a bit slim, however it isnt impossible. It has been known to happen. There is no "safe time" to engage in sexual intercourse.Anytime you have sexual intercourse you are placing yourself at a risk of pregnancy. If you are sexually active you need to go to your gyno and speak to them about possibly placing you on birth control.Birth control isnt 100% effective and it doesnt prevent the contraction of stds so have another form of protection available.Even then, there is a chance. The only full proof way to prevent pregnancy and std contraction as well as the emotional risks is to not engage in those types of activities at all.So consider it.Please be careful, and remember that there is not a safe time to have intercourse.Anytime you do,not matter how far or near your cycle is you can become pregnant.Good luck and have a good night.

Yes, a woman can become pregnant from the time you first get your period, up until menopause.

So be careful!

Sure thing! Actually can you?... cause I think it really depends on the day of your menses that you choose to have intercourse. If its the last day of your flow or close to it the sperm may survive in your body for up to five days I believe and that can easily cross over into the days that you ovulate. Cause once your body releases that egg and there were a few rebel sperm cells surviving in your fallopian tubes BAM youre pregnant baby! (and has to be followed by proper insertion/plantation in the wall of the uterus)
