- Central Air conditioner, or

if it's just a regular air conditioner, the front of the unit pops off, thats where the filters are located

If it is in your home it will be on the side , look for a square section on the unit with two small screws . MAKE SURE UNIT IS OFF. If you look you will find it dont be afraid to explore dont go near any wires it will be right there no need to move anything other then the cover for it.

always filter the air before it goes into the unit, the dirt will plug the fins if it gets on them.
