I want to help my friend make some beats and some hooks and some chorus's on but i don't have studio money so is there a good computer program i can use to make music i want to make a whole song not just parts can anyone help please and thank you?

For MIDI you have many choices. Mac has Garageband that comes standard with the iLife suite. not a bad program but simple. If you're better with MIDI I would highly recommend Reason or Digital Performer. If you have the money, both work amazingly good together when you rewire them. (Run DP, then run Reason and Reason should automatically be rewired to DP)
