My wife and I don't have any money to spend on fancy costumes but she needs one for a halloween party. What are some ideas for good costumes that don't cost money?

Go as a Christmas present.... Get a large enough box to fit around her and put head and arm holes in it. Then wrap it up with paper. and put her hair in a pony tail and put a bow on the top of her head. She can wear something under the box...like long johns to keep her warm. Oh and don't forget the to- from somewhere on the box. Hope you have fun!!!

Try looking in the thrift shops for ideas. Maybe a drag queen or a zombie.

I'm not spending any money and I'm gonna be a scarecrow. She could be a hobo, a cat (black top and pants and draw on whiskers with eye liner), a ghost, a man, she could wear her pj's, robe and hair rollers, use your imagination!!

flashdance-- cut the neck out of an old sweatshirt, wear a pair of leggings under it, add legwarmers, curl the hair--and you're done.
