Do what you want to do. Don't worry about what they are going to think. You can't let other people's opinion of you decide how you run your life.

I'd like to know how old u are - not in a bad way just 'friends' put pressure on us to be like them but as we grow we let go of this .
Change your style and enjoy it -be creative and individual. Perhaps you will be very different from your friends and you might meet some new ones too...
If you are still growing up you may really become someone else - nothing wrong with that either - you may just evolve into another kind of you.
Good luck

I've done this a few times myself. At first it was daunting as friends did comment (although it wasn't negative the changes I made did surprise them) they soon accepted the idea.
However if you can look beyond any comments, knowing that they will get used to the new YOU (not someone else) you should be fine.

Good luck

Girl, if they are really your friends then they'll be there for you no matter what. Talk to your BEST friend about what you want to do and ask her to go with you to pick out new clothes or a new hair style. If your friends have a problem with your new style then fukk'em!

Ok, i know it might sound stupid and in your mind you might be saying "THATS WHAT EVERYONE SAYS, BUT IT JUST DOESN'T WORK!" but really, just ignore everyone, and if you want to do something, GO FOR IT.
I say take the risk, don't look to your friends for that kind of stuff. I did that once, I just compeletely turned around my style, and my best friend nagged at me about it because she said that it doesn't look good. I got really upset and stopped talking to her. After a couple weeks she appologized and said that she was just jealous and that she LOVES my style. i got alot of compliments.

JUST GO FOR IT.

Maybe who you really are is simply a person that likes to experiment with your appearance, nothing wrong with that, kind of fun actually. Is fun to try things out.
Plus I think that's possibly how you find out what looks you'll be most comfortably with _what one 'really' is, it's this at the end of the day.
What is not fun is to live your life in fear of what others think of you.

Well, if you really want a change you should be brave and go ahead. I guess your friends might think it's weird at the beginning, but they'll get used to it and it's not such a big deal.
