Thank you for the answers. well, I applied for 15 jobs this fall for a new graduate. Unfortunately, I only got one interview with this firm and I am a bit worried about not getting the job.
So, I wouldn't be able to tell them that I am considering other offers at this moment. Anyways, I think I should contact them next week. Have a great weekend!

Call and inquire about the status of your application. Don't just wait, adn definitely don't email...unless of course you've explicitly been told to do otherwise.

I suggest you call them today or Monday at latest. You had a second round interview (you were among the few candidates for consideration) which means that they should be making their decision very soon. A week is very reasonable to follow-up. Also, if they are waivering...a timely call will show them your interest and may be the tie-breaker between you and another candidate. Generally, firms that are respectful will send you a rejection letter or at least an e-mail after a secound round interview since there are fewer candidates within 2 weeks.

I would still keep applying, regardless though.

Best of luck.

I'd say a week should be a reasonable time frame to call back. When you end an interview, ask them when they anticipate making a decision and what they consider an appropriate time for you to follow up.

You might say you are considering some other offers, but were most interested in their position, so you were curious when they will make the decision (which, if they don't hire you, you will have to consider other offers, so this isn't really a lie).

You left a message. Do no longer something till you're actual particular this guy or woman is back from holiday. what's probable occurring is they did no longer make a sort previously the guy left for holiday. those decision usually are not as common as they think of they are going to be. you do no longer flow the line from in a well mannered way inquiring to stressful.

After like a couple of weeks then you still didn't hear any word, go apply elsewhere. Good Luck.

There are a lot of accounting jobs out there. Start looking elsewhere.

I think they may still be deciding, however if they don't call by next Friday, I would call them.
