I sometimes feel she should be up and playing at this age...makes me a little flustered.

She goes to bed at 9pm - sleeps 5-6 hours...then up every 3 hours. Had 2 naps during the day that last up to 3 hours...then it starts all over again.

My 10 week old sleeps about 18 hours a day or more. 6-8 of it is at night. She takes a long nap in the morning, is awake for awhile, takes another nap, then is up for 2-3 hours.

The answer is a lot. Most babies ten weeks take at least 3 or 4 naps through the day or fewer but longer naps. This is normal remember your baby is growing at an incredible rate both physically and mentally. Don't worrie about how much he or she is sleeping now it doesnt become an issue for several more months when you can get them into a routine. However, if it seems that your baby is overly lathargic ie you can't get her to wake during day time hours for at least an hour or two at a time you should see your doctor.

They eat and sleep. Eat and sleep. They do not sleep long enough at night. They do not play at that age. They watch you. Make funny faces and talk to her. She how strong her grip is. She can probably hang on while you pick her up by her grip.

10 months, yes, she should be up playing.

10 weeks, no. She'll slep alot (unless you're sleeping, then she'll probably be crying).

No worries. 10 month old babies eat, sleep, and poop. That's it.
Mine could do all three at the same time.
