Front pads not worn rear shoes are in good cond. Rear durms ok and adjusted correctly. Truck just doesn't seam to stop well at all. Brake pedal feels ok not low or spongy maybe a little on the hard side, but is deffinetly assisted by the booster.

If you have truly checked everything, and your brake feels hard and not spongy and you're sure the brake booster is getting vacuum and assisting, the next thing to go after is the brake proporting valve, which distributes pressure to your brake system. Typically if it goes bad, brakes will lock up, but it could prevent it from braking properly.

Check the brake fluid under the hood. It will be labeled "Use dot 3 only" It should be a white plastic container, most likely on the driver side on the back-end.

check to make sure the master cylinder isn't leaking..

You may also need to bleed your brakes, there may be too much air in the tubing

caliper pistons could be seized and not moving esaly caliper slids are seized
brake booster leaking slightly or the vacume hose has cracked from intake mainfold to brake booster
master cylinder blocked or primery piston bypassing and seconday ok
at rear the wheel cylinders may be seized easy test turn piston or pull out a little if not move sized
(is there a leveing brake valve on rear axle if yes may be in wrong postion or all so seized in one poistion the wrong one)

try getting a better grade of pads for the front
do you know what kind is on there now??
I'd start there and also check your brake fluid and lines to make sure you have no leaks
