Whats wrong with Pop? i dont see why that cant be used. If your daughter is the one who said no to it, then Im guessing she simply doesnt want to acknowledge your husband in that way.

What heritage are you? I think it's cute when you call your family members by what language or nationality...I call my grandpa Ukki which is Finnish for Gpa~ My friend is hispanic and calls her mom Madre- my friends husband is spanish and calls his wife Mija....Just a suggestion!

My dad is known as PaPa, and sometimes just as Pa.
On my husbands side, we just say "Grandpa Jack" and "Grandpa Steve".

My suggestion is grandpa _______ and use his name example grandpa David......... When a child has two grandpa's they usually call one with his name after...... papa is ok too....

I drop the d. I call my grandparents, "grampa and gramma" You could try gram. That would be nice and way cool. It sounds sophisticated too. Then again....it is used for grandma too. Maybe a bit feminine.
