LOL!!! My husband is the SAME way!!! When we go to bed at night and I say aren't you going to cuddle? (I know he, and all men hate that!) He tells me "Our feet are touching, that's cuddling to me." Pisses me off, but it's funny!

If that's not the attention you want. Let him know BLUNTLY...don't think your subtle hints, that NO ONE would be able to pick up, are conveying that you need attention. The reason he thinks this is because to him you being in the house with him, near him, is him getting attention from you. He will change if you BLUNTLY tell him and DO NOT DO THE WOMAN THING which is drop subtle hints that are UNDETECTABLE by MEN!

When we first got married, my husband told me that married people no longer held hands, this is right after we were married. For 31 years I fought with all that I had to get my husbands attention, it didn't get me any where but in divorce court. If your husband is still at the receptive stage, then try to talk to him about how you feel.
Good Luck

Men don't like to hear us nag and complain about wanting more attention. Just offer up something that will get his attention when you feel you want more attention. I bet he'll give you the response that you are looking for.

Men are of the notion that a little goes a long way.

Women want the quality of the time as well.

Men just can't seem to wrap their heads around this concept

you should consider yourself lucky that he lets you stay in the house. He's already giving you more attention than you deserve. Get over it. Apologize to him for even thinking this and posting it.

of course tell him you can get a dog to be there it doesn't mean any thing.....attention is when the two of you do things together...not watching t.v.......talk to you...touche you ,,hold you....kiss you a lots more.....men in general get staying means the women is getting attention......you just need to teach him he is new to this,,,,,

no i don't i am sure my lover loves me!
you seem slighty insecure with yourself needing constint reasurencethat someone loves you!
your getting attention just not his full attention
Try planing 1 night a week or 3 nights a month that you both just are doing naked days or something!
Remember
trust, communication, and passion are key elements to a GREAT relationship

Your newlywed and already telling total strangers that your man does not give you enough?
Reread your vows on love, honor and respect.
Then meditate on your actions and attitude.
