Looking for Windows utility or Visual Basic code to read a .TIF image file and report if it is color, # pages, etc. This is so I can review batches of image files and decide the economics of segregating batches of image files among monochrome and color printers.

This is a good freeware image viewer.

not something fills me with more effective excitement than to confirm absolutely one of my Qs has been deleted after I have resolved them. you'll imagine a Q will be secure considering that a BA has been chosen, yet now I see that that is the suitable revenge for someone who felt their answer became more effective deserving. So if so, you'd be determining in this as suitable answer, correct?
