7. I dislike moving because it requires a bravery that I usually don't have. To go to a new place and start your life over, have to re-establish your values and convictions; takes a set of brass ones. You have to really know who you are and what you want out of life and then be willing to take pride in it and defend it if necessary. When I move I find it difficult to remain true to the person I really am. There are god parts though. It can give you the opportunity to succeed at something you didn't have the resources or the options to do before. It also allows you a sense of freedom to become the best individual you can be without all of your past preconceived notions causing you to struggle.

I've moved 3 times in the last 4 years. Once to Cali with only one bag, the truck came later. Easy. Then I met my husband and gradually moved in. Easy. Then we went to clean out my storage unit in 4 days and that was total hell, that ranks a 10.

I know we're going to have to move someday, and that's just going to be off the 10 point chart!

8 - it's not the worse thing in life, but it's a real hassle. I have a 3 bedroom house that I packed all by myself to move 500 miles. It was one of the most stressful times in my life. Luckily, all I had to do was the packing and unpacking. We hired movers for the loading and unloading. I seriously recommend hiring movers for part of the work.

once you have done it more than 5 times in one year moving is the worst thing. on the plus side you learn what you cant live without and what can be left behind pretty quickly

Haha.... that's what happens when you don't pack ahead of time. Use one of those heated backpads.
