I cant let go off my love for her.I have tried many times to find some other girl but in vain.My emotions are too strong to let me part with this girl.What should i do?She too is in great love .My family and so is hers ,are against our relationship.She is very brave unlike me, to go against our family.
we are hindu and live in India.She is my mom's younger sister's daughter.Hindu marriage laws doesnt sanction such relationship.
Now does any body know any ways by which I can marry this girl.?
Is it possible if we convert to ISLAM? for the sake of marriage and then reconvert back to hindu??
Please answer.

Just wanted to clear something up. First cousins who marry are not 99 percent likely to have retarded children. There is a slight increase in the risk of genetic defects if first cousins have children together. That risk is 2% to 3% higher. Non-cousins who marry can also have children with birth defects, so marrying your cousin isn't an absolute no-no, in terms of what it will do to your children. You might want to find out if the family has any particular birth defects and how commonly they occur before deciding on children, but I don't think it's sick or weird. The US is one of the few developed countries in the world that outlaws marriage between first cousins and even in the US it's on a state-by-state basis. (Kentucky and West Virginia DON'T allow it, California and New York do.)

No one can help how they feel. Some hide it better than others. There will probably not be a problem as long as it doesn't continue in your line, but If you both feel you are that much in love, then who's to tell you otherwise. My dear I am sorry but you are definately morally wrong in which you are doing this.. I hope by all means that you do NOT have any children.. as they are about 99.9 percent sure to have alot of mental and physical defects.

I knew first cousins that married. had beautiful kids too. of course there was the thing about skin rashes and insanity that ran in the family. in all of India you can't find another girl?
