hi i know somebody that is working for a contractor that hasnt been paid in 3 months and the contractor owes him $4000+!
the only problem is that the worker is illegal and so i was wondering what is his rights and what should we do to get the contractor to pay him without firing him. any websites or phone numbers of agencies or places that would help us WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your friend needs to stop working there. The contractor obviously doesn't intend to pay him, and knows that your friend's illegal status is something that he can hold over him. Don't worry about not getting fired, he should be quitting.
As to whether he can get his money back, who knows. Online searches mostly come up with stories about how workers compensation doesn't cover illegal immigrants, and if they can't manage to get medical money (which is covered by law) I doubt that even a good humanitarian organization can get him money without a written contract at least.
