Go to the Second Life website and sign in. Under your "Second Life" name in the upper right hand corner will be a link titled "My Account" Click this. On the right hand side of the screen under "Membership," you will see a link to cancel your account. But, as the website states, you will be charged $9.95 to reactivate your account, even if you were using the free version.
