I always chose the 1st available parking spot when I could and walked. Today I have no choice as I am handicapped and have to park as close to where I am going, but I do have handicapped license plates. What irks me is to see a young person pull into one of those spots so their teenage friend can run into a store while they sit in the car. There wasn't anything I liked to do more then walking and if I could today I'd turn my plates in and do so.

Unless it is pouring rain and I have all 4 kids with me I just park and walk. I park in the first empty space in the aisle I drive down. I hate it when people circle the parking lot 12 times for a really close space. I just want out of the dang car already. By the time they find a space I am already inside getting things done!

Actually, unless it's pouring down rain, I always park really far away ..lol...the walk is good and I'm not worried as much about somebody else hitting my car or banging a shopping cart into it while I'm shopping.

The first row I go down, I try to get a close one. If there's not one there, I don't waste my time.....I just park and walk my butt to where I need to go!â¥
