Yes, unless they have a cold sore or other open type sore on their mouth. I wouldn't go sharing it with a stranger only cause you don't know where that mouth has been!

It is okay to share lipstick, but you really shouldn't because of they have are sick or have a cold sore you will most likely get it too.

Take a tissue and wipe the lipstick a few times. Use it. Then wipe off again before giving it back to your friend.

Yeah and no... if it is someone you know where their lips have been then yes, but if you don't I would say no. The thing is~ If someone has herpes on their mouth, you can catch it. AND the herpes doesn't have to be present at the time in order for you to get it... if an outbreak is about to happen in a few days, then you can get it with no signs of a sore on your friends lips! Now, that is just gross...

It is OK if the you know this person does not have herpes simplex 1 (cold sores), strep throat, or even a cold. You are sharing spit with them on some level.

no b/c that's just nasty- i used to hate when i was in high school an them nasty lil girls would ask me to use my lip chap or my carmax.....b/c i didnt know where there mouth has been and even if the girl is yo friend she might be hidding something from you or is just probably kissed a lot of dudes.....
