Which bands/songs do people think are completely inpossible to dance to?? My own personal choice are Joy Division songs- I choose this one from personal experience.

I also have attempted dancing to Blue Monday- big disaster! I looked like a right idiot, swaying round and flapping my arms. *cringe*

Still when you've had a slight refreshment..you'll try...but the only thing you'll succeed at is making a right @$$ of yourself.

Most Prog Rock bands (Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes etc) are non-danceable, but occasionally you will hear a prog track at a disco (Radar Love by Golden Earring is possibly the most often played prog track) if it has been requested. At this point, the dance-floor usually clears apart from the one who requested it, leaving them cruelly exposed!!!!

Blue Monday by New Order - when I was a teenage (not yesterday), they used to play the 12 inch version. If you got asked to dance to that you were absoluely squirming.

anything R&B/Hip-Hop ugh! oh and Dire Straits must be the worst band in the world to listen to let alone dance to - sorry had to put that out there!!!

For me, dance music is impossible for me to dance to. I can't get into it at all. To quote Sublime "Bright lights put me in a trance/But it ain't hous music that makes me want to dance (Word!)"
