well i am only 27, and 3 years ago, i got pregnant. surprised me because just 1 1/2 years before that i had my tubes tied immediately after my twins were born. I also had normal periods, right on time every month for almost 5 whole months...until they suddenly stopped. thats when i went to the dr. and she told me i was 5 months along already. SURPRISE!!!!!! so yes, i know that its possible, but not sure on the percentage of chances, with her age and all. good luck

1. Really really unlikely.
2. Mediocre. Ligation reversal is not 100%, and at 41 fertility is somewhat diminished anyway. She might have to look into IVF if she wants to conceive.
3. Periods should stop with pregnancy regardless of age.
4. Really really rare.
5. Yes.

Has it ever happened? Yes, but it is very rare. Would a reversal work, doubtful. It's been too long since she had it done. After 40 pregnancies....yes. More and more. (Heck, my mom had me at 44 and that was in 1965). Yes, you can have periods and still be pregnant....it is rare.

I would guess after 16 years she would not get pregnant. A reversal may work.
