It looks just like there is a magnifying glass in front of the screen. It happened when I was removing some programmes using my Control Panel - Add/remove Programmes. I must have removed something I shouldn't have. Can anyone tell me how to put it back to normal please?

Sounds like you have removed your graphics card driver files...

If you have a "store-bought" computer it is likely that the graphics are onboard or built-in, my advice in that situation is to go to the store you bought it or the manufacturer's website of your motherboard and get the drivers for your motherboard.

If you have a home-built computer, then you could be using a graphics card, which is would you believe it, a lot simpler and the same course of action is needed, but drivers should be readily available on the net for free download.

Post another question stating what graphics card/onboard chip you use if you know and I will endeavour to do my best to help further if need be!

Good luck.

Sounds like you removed your graphics driver! You either have onboard graphics or a graphics card. If you havent modified your PC, go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers and software. If you have a PC that is homebuilt or built by someone else, you will need to find out what motherboard you have and graphics you have.

You might have removed the drivers for your video card in the process of removing things in add/remove programs. Might want to look into re-downloading those. Some video drivers are listed in add/remove programs.
