my friend gf of 9 years past away in july of 2004 ,after her death we beagn seeing each other ,but i was with him a year b4 she past and i didnt knew about her when i found out i left...me and him are no longer toghter but him grieving over her kinda ruin our realtionship which i totally understood he needed to grieve ...its been 2 and a half years now since she passed do u think he is still depress and thinks about her??

Yes. I think he'll always have some part of him that will love her and grieve for her. Give him time and space and if he wants to be with you, he'll make that attempt. Otherwise, I'm sure he's having a very hard time moving on and probably needs a little counseling. If anything, why don't you offer to simply be his friend again and help him through this?

Why don't u just go ahead and ask him how he feels? The grieving process is different for each person and even though it's been 2 yrs ago, he may still think about her every now and then.

he will always think about her, but it is time to move on and maybe if you present a good enough picture for him. maybe you two can hook up again, good luck!
