Wente Bros. has its winery, a fine restaurant, and wine tasting in Livermore, just a 35 minute drive down 580 from Oakland.
Italian Colors, in the Montclair District (Oakland Hills), has fine food and an extensive wine list.
My favorite wine shop is on College Ave. just before the Berkeley border. I can't remember its name, but its directly across from the Safeway on College.
