Actually, you only got part of it. How we create our character begins with our thoughts. When our thoughts meet the action we take based on our decisions (based on our thoughts), it creates a habit. Then as we continue to act upon the habit (again by choice, therefore thoughts), the habits begin to define our character. And then as we continue on with our character, it defines our destiny.

It all comes down to this. The beginning of it all starts with thought process. Life is not just about choices and our actions, it is primarily about what thoughts we have during our choices and actions. Ultimately, our thoughts form our life...therefore our character...therefore our destiny.

Our actions and behaviors reveal who we are. I definitely think that experiences and people form a person's individual character. How a person acts is a response to those experiences and people. It is up to the individual to decide how to respond to those stimuli, so the character of a person could be innate to the individual. Or the influences of adults (parents and authoritative figures) while a person is learning traits of certain character types can be the reason why a person chooses to behave they way they do.

I think both, you can have brewing problems or something going on one year & be judged a certain way, ex. women that go out drinking..have too much, dance crazy (slutty) should she be classed a drunken slut because of her actions even though its not her character at home, work or around family & friends. Same with men that get horny when drinking normally wouldn't cheat but do, would that mean their character is a unfaithful, untrust worthy person. Actions/Behavior can be tricky because everyone changes their actions/behavior accordingly but your character is your Soul....your morals, life learnings and the love received at home to build that character!

Neither. Actions and behavior can be manufactured by anyone. Ted Bundy was a charming man but apparently had no soul. It's important to be nice, friendly, mannerly, etc. but your conscience guides your character.

I think that our actions and behaviors stem from genetics, and from the people we associate with. Some people are always trying to please others, and therefore, never reveal their own characters to others.

Actions and behaviors result from whay we choose to do. Often they reveal who we are, but only if we are really acting and behaving as we are. We don't often act and behave as ourselves in situations where we are afraid to.

Our character is 'formed' by the experiences we have and what our immediate reaction is to them, and how we feel about all of it. Who we are is a product of what we do and why we do it.
