A huge cowboy fan has got to see a game before they build the new stadium in 2009. The venue is centrally located around three major highways and is easy to get to from just about anywhere.
I would recommend staying in Arlington somewhere around I - 30 and 360. It is only a 15 minute drive from here and the nightlife and tourist attractions are the best in the metroplex.
I have lived in Dallas my entire life and have attended games since 1983 to present. Get there early to enjoy some of the best BBQ you've ever eaten. If you are wearing cowboys paraphernalia the locals will be glad to feed you!

Yes, I have been. I was at the game where E Smith set the rushing record. Quite a few in the general area. We stayed out near Six Flags. Not a bad drive. Arrive early. Traffic is horrible within an hour of game time.
Cowboy fans are fine. Not a problem.

I have never been to a game, but I did go to Dallas for business & drove by Texas Stadium! It was awsome. (and Philly fans cannot be any ruder than New England fans- I live in Rhode Island)
Hope you enjoy your visit to Dallas. It is a beautiful city. I am seriously thinking of moving there!

I am also a Huge Cowboys fan I have never been to Texas Stadium but I hear that it has pleasant people. I am not sure about hotels in the area I would check on the internet and see if they have some hotels close to Texas Stadium.

No, but I took a picture of the stadium when I drove by it. It's surrounded by expressways. I'd stay in the North section of Dallas, near the Galleria, at the La Quinta in Addison. That was a nice, quiet , and safe place. And relatively cheap. I just WISH I could go to a game. Good luck on getting a ticket!

I am not sure what hotels to stay in but, i have been to several games and the atmosphere is great. Even to the other teams fans. There is sometimes some general trash talk but nothing out of hand. I took my family from Chicago two years ago on Thanksgiving when we played them and it was great. Be prepared to do some serious tailgating.

WOOO DALLAS COWBOYS!! Lol I live in the Dallas area and i've always wanted to go to a game, unfortunately I haven't. They are building that new stadium, though. That is when I REALLY want to go. I think you'll really enjoy it if you do decide to come to Texas. Sorry, I know this wasn't much help lol.

u dont need a parking pass-u can buy one once u get there-but the spaces around the stadium are the"blue section"-u probably wont park there-just follow the traffic thats what i did-saw cows-skins game 2 weeks ago.its 20 dollar parking pass and quite a long hike-but believe me its worth it just to see all the fans along the way.and i heard humperdinks has some shuttle service-at least they did for the one i went to-so u may wanna call them also-have fun!
