I've got a perfect example of the kids of today being as stupider than ever.

Normally I do not eat at fast food joints but for whatever reason, I went to BK today. Got 2 burgers....total $2.17. I gave the girl a $5 and the cash register showed change due of $2.83. I then pulled out $.02 from my pocket, handed it to her and said......"here, to make things easier"!

Well I might as well have been speaking Chinese. Like a deer in headlights, this dumbass just stared at me, as I heard the gears in her brain ATTEMPT to turn. After about 5 seconds she handed the .02 back to me and said...... "no this does not make it easier"!

My jaw dropped, but I really shouldn't have been surprised!! Folks, this is the future of America. God help us all!!!!!!

Mr Happy

well i work at cvs, a drug store and people do that to me also.
now mind you, i was in advanced math in h.s. but i still do the same thing she does every now and again. sometimes we are in another world in our head, if all day we just pull out the what register says, we automatically take it out, but when people come seconds later saying oh i have blah blah blah, it kinda throws us off.. so its not really nice calling someone a dumbass that you know nothing about.
and like a person said a few answers before, just because you see someone that couldnt include your pennies doesnt mean society is collapsing

Why might the dollar give way? it is a potential of fixing fee. it is fee could upward thrust and fall in assessment to different currencies yet a procedures too many human beings use it for it ever to get replaced. Incidently, the Euro won't give way the two, in spite of the Little Englanders hoping that it will.

yes, sad but true, I think it's because kids now a days are so busy w/ all that they do , they don't take out the time to
study as much as they should & then they tend to forget what they have learned, or the girl just does not work well
under pressure & got all confused so said , no keep your
2 cents instead of taking out the time to figure out the difference, who knows & yes it's sad.

I know what you mean with the change, and it doesn't just happen in America, I can assure you. People have been predicting the end of civilisation as we know it since the fall of the Roman Empire, and probably before. One of our biggest attributes is our ability to adapt.

so you met a girl with a learning disability, is that a predictor for the end of society, or are you just trying to call attention to that little story.
