This is the first year I am not dressing as a "sexy kitten", "sexy nurse", or a "sexy cop". I am actually going as Jackie O. I wasn't in the mood to have my butt and boobs hanging out this year. Am I missing out on the one time a year it is ok to dress like a skank?

No, to your first question. And No to your 2nd question. Why would or should you feel like you are missing out? Many young girls have been the victims of kidnap, torture and some have lost their lives on Halloween. As any other time of the year goes without saying. But on Halloween kids and teenagers are out often unaccompanied by an adult and unsupervised. Pediphiles could be lurking around anywhere. So no you should not dress like a street walker just b/c you can. Have fun but also be safe. Travel in a group and do not allow anyone to walk home alone. Be aware of your surroundings. You could even carry a flashlight as a weapon.

You are asking two questions. Should you? That is up to you. If you like to do so and want to do so, then do it. But, just because you can "get away with it" doesn't mean that you need to automatically do it.
Are you missing out on anything? Again, that is up to you. If you do not feel like you are missing out on anything, then you are not missing out on anything. Given that you have dressed as a Sexy Something the past, you should know on what you will be missing out, if it is anything at all.
Jackie O is great idea for a costume, someone that should be fun with which to get into character.

Well maybe you are growing up, girls do not have to be dressed up like a skank to be popular at halloween, even if some feel it is ok on Halloween. Do what you want. You should be able to dress up as a skank anytime you want to.

It kiss me how people's minds work. First of all, when girls dress like skanks for halloween, its shows how much of a lack of imagination they have. Secondly, its a desparate cry for attention that you're obviously not getting as a result of what you normally look like. And lastly, girls wonder why they get the wrong kind of attention or pulled into ally ways and even raped. Dressing up for halloween should be fun because you get to be something you're not. Why anyone would want to be a dirtbag for a day is beyond me.

I get sick of seeing so many "sexy" women's costumes. So, no, I don't think women should dress scantily on Halloween. I don't like seeing all that skin. It's disgusting.
I don't think you'd be missing out by dressing a little more modestly. Besides, isn't it harder to stay warm if the costume doesn't cover much?

Jackie O is a great costume! But ya thats why I do it. Its the only time of the year were u can look like a total slut and get away with it! Its fun!

In my opinion, no. Girls dressing distastefully is no more tasteful on Halloween then any other day, they just think it is. It is seen as an excuse to dress inappropriately only by those who are probably already seen as sleazy. I don't see why it's so 'fun' to dress like you have no respect for yourself or your body.

I think girls that dress like skanks on Halloween are still perceived as skanks even though its a costume. I don't think they can get away with it just becuase its Halloween.

Yes you are but just think how warm you will be. I am al lfor looking/drssing like a skank once in a while. If you have it, show it...sometimes.
