Does the town you live in have a Fringe festival, or is there a town nearby with a Fringe? Fringe festivals are usually where new playwrights/directors/actors/whatever get their start, because they are open to everyone and the cost of leasing the theatre is usually really low (where I live, it's about $560).

If you still need money, or there is no Fringe and you need to rent a theatre on your own, you can try asking local businesses if they want to sponsor you. The way the deal usually works is they give you money and you put an ad for their business in your program. You can also try applying for a government grant, though I think in most cases you have to have an established reputation to get a grant.

first get in touch with your local theatre-try community college--you need to get your play read and accepted by somebody and this shouldnt cost you much----then if they like it (if someone likes it) they could try to put you in touch with a theatrical company and producer--usually the comp will locate investors--------mainly they might work it into a play they could perform--i think---
