♥Why do people eat other people in some countries?

A long time ago....my mom and other siblings overheard on the radio that a 31 year old man in Germany was going around killing people and taking them home and eating them? Why would someone want to eat someone? Why????? Thats horrifying to know. It really scares me to know that there are people out there like that......

I know right? Its gross....!

I have watched the documentary about cannibalism. Some groups try to eat only the human ear, while those who really eat human told that it tastes good. This is really horrifying and hair raising. I think even to the north pole, where people eat fresh flesh cannot be spared by this.

In New Guinea it is part of the funeral right. The women and small children would eat family members who had died. Others like Jeffrey Dahmer ate their victims to totally overpower them, to have complete control over them.

In some cultures, it was a tradition, but not so much anymore.
Nowadays, it's not a matter of "Dear God, the people in such-and-such country are eating other people!"
It's more of a matter of said country having a crazy person on the loose.
