I put it in my trunk and when I opened the trunk to take the bags out I realized that one of the bags tipped over and some "fish juice" had spilled in the trunk of my NEW car!! I washed it with a carpet cleaner, did not work, sprayed febreeze, did not work, finally I got it detailed. The smell is still there not as bad as before but my whole car REAKS!! I have car fragrances for the good smell all over my car! I need help?? Can anyone give me an idea that WILL WORK?? I cannot stand the smell anymore!

rub fresh lemons on the spot, dry it with a towel and leave the trunk open to air dry it completely.

Febreeze is from the devil. It is like putting perfume on instead of showering. Get some HOT water from the sink, soak your entire trunk area and then suck it all out with a wet/dry vac. I mean, use like gallons of water. Keep rinsing and repating (with the shop vac) until the water is coming out clear. Leave your trunk open on a hot sunny day or in the garage for 2-3 days when you park to let it dry out again.

Clean the car down again let it dry sprinkle baking soda all over it will absorb the order. Or bring to a boil a small pot of vinegar place it in the car until it cools off the vinegar will kill the order. I do that when I fry fish in the house works every time

Place a half a can of fresh ground coffee in the trunk to remove the order. It works pretty well.

Vinegar, that's why it's used in douche.

Or, remove the trunk carpet liner.
