a couple of hours ago i posted a problem with my hand because i didn't know if i broke it or just strained it, alot of people said it could be that i strained it. but the pain is slowly spreading up my arm and to the tip of my little finger. has anyone had this before and could it be a trapped nerve? if it is a trapped nerve can you solve it yourself?
also, the name of my last question was "Problem with my hand?"

Best thing to do is go to A&E to be sure ?, the hand is a very complex thing and i would take no chances.

This sounds like carpal tunnel, which especially presents itself is the little finger. As it gets worse the pain is bad enough to wake you up in the middle of the night. I've written an entire guide on how to prevent & core carpel tunnel, check it out.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

theres a lot of little bones in the hand that can fracture quite easily. It would be best to get it x-rayed to be on the safe side.

does your neck hurt? If it is a pinched nerve, the nerves that control the hand are located in the neck region.

does it feel numb?if it does it could be a problem or just a trepped nerve as you say...is it swollen?if it is it's fractured...if you can move it..if you can't move it it's broken THAT EASY
