Being in the health care industry and having a wife who is an RN, I can assure you that doctors are not infallible. They can be (a) poor communicators, (b) too quick to access or diagnose, (c) lousy at human interaction, or (d) distracted by personal issues. If you feel that he or she is not doiung their job, do not hesitate to get a second opinion or question their judgement.

absolutely. One group of symptoms can add up to a disorder, but also be a condition of an underlying disorder. Many symptoms can mimic other disorders.

Some conditions will not present with any symptoms until the disease is in advanced stages.

that is why doctors need a family history, and need to keep correct charts. Thats why early test have been developed, to find things that havent manifest as a symptoms yet.

Thats why they have mal-practice lawsuits.

good luck
