It is always the same woman. I cannot make out her facial features, but she is tall and has curly/wavy reddish-brown hair. I've been having this same dream for about 3 months now.

This woman could be from a past life.
Ok Hon, this is what you do:
Pray to GOD every night before going to bed, ask GOD to take away the bad dreams, that you don't want this woman bothering you anymore. Ask GOD to surround you with the white light of the holy spirit.
Before going to bed, think of the things that make you happy.
If you like watching horror movies, stop watching for a while.

I totally agree with the answerer who said it is an underlying subconscious message. I want to add also that maybe you did something that you don't want someone to know about and it came out as the scenario where you killed someone in the dream. Yeh this was going on with me but the scenario was recurring with me always on a school or college campus with most of the time no one being there and I was alone. It was very annoying to keep experiencing this but it all stopped when I had a real situation happen that was shattering and the recurring dreams quit suddenly and I came up with this................................... Without going into details, I was friends with a guy for almost 10 years and I thought he was this super person and before he got into big trouble, I was having these recurring dreams as I mentioned about college and high school campuses. After this creep ended up getting arrested, I had a hard time with it because he wasn't the person I thought he was after all that time knowing him and the dreams over and over were signs bascially telling me I was about to "learn a lesson or 2". It is an individual thing and many ppl on here don't believe dreams have meanings but its ok because once a person really has experiences with problems and then dreams come into it, it can make that person a believer.

Recurring dream is an unresolved issue. In your case Tall woman is a symbol of your fear. It could mean fear of high authority. Anyone with high authority could mean this tall woman. However, if you come across some poster or some one that tall. It is possible that image lurks into your mind and caused you dream of that.
The reason you have this dream is because somehow you can't forget this image if it is from reality. If it is a symbol of high authority, some may have happened past month caused you to dream that. First off don't give any women a key to your house. Next every night sleep with a cell phone under your pillow and 911 on speed dial. Your cordless phone right beside you is nicer, because they know where you are calling from, but the phone line could be cut. Maybe a gun under your pillow might help too.
BTW- where do you live, I thought I might stop by in the middle of the night and....., oh did I say that out loud oops.

When I was like 9 years old I had a persistent dream of a woman in a blue-grey dress stabbing me in the throat. The woman looked like I knew her, or like I would, or something? so familiar. Now that I grew up, I can see that the woman in my dreams was me. Mmmm. I can't answer your question, but it's freaky too.

I've always heard that when u dream about something happing 2 u it's the oppsite that something might happen 2 a man thats close 2 u :What r u eating before u go 2 sleep greases foods or pork will do every time.

It could mean all sorts of things. Keep a notepad or tape recorded right next to your bed. When you wake up during or right after the dream, make explicit notes about it. Do that for abut a week and see of the dream stops.

either you are feeling guilty about something, or someone has hurt your feelings (without you consciously knowing it)and they are manifesting themselves in your dream. Try to remember the last 3 things that happened to you that really upset you and see if you can draw some parallels. Also, were you given unconditional love as a child? Does this faceless women in anyway resemble your mother?

death is a symbol of your life making a change. the woman could represent someone or something that can make you feel overbearing maybe. nothing to be afraid of. it's just dreams. but i was taught that dreams do come true.
