Do a seach for narcissist and anti-sociapath. It is the hardest condition to cure because first you have seek help and if you don't think you have a problem then you can't seek help.

Main traits are lack of understanding or interest in anyone elses feelings except your own. Its always about you.

If a person is an egomaniac, then they would naturally think that they didn't have a problem and blame others. People with ego problems have self esteem that is too high, and have unnaturally high expectations about how they should be treated. Everyone should have self esteem and respect, but they should also recognise that they are human, and like everyone else, have flaws and weakness. It's about being realistic. For examples of egomania (and pandering to it) see every celebrity that has been denied entry to a nightclub, or watch the behaviour of your colleagues when the Managing Director decides to pay a visit to your floor (if you had worked in my old company, you would have thought it was the second coming of Jesus, not a visit from a largely ornamental figurehead). It's easy to see how some people become this way over time with the right amount of money/power.

I don't think that egoists realize how "big their heads" are. Love of ones self is just enormous that nothing matters to him/her but himself/herself.
