I sure hope it's not unhealthy. The way I see it we are here for only a short time. I want to understand everything I can about the world around me, the people that inhabit that world and myself in the time I am given.
Keep searching.

God yes! Because the more you learn, the more you realise how little you know. An appreciation of our limitations is so important - people who think they know it all are just going to trip themselves up at some point.
And being the way you are doesn't mean you're woolly with your head stuck in the clouds. It actually has very practical applications. Think about yourself in the workplace (if you work). A curious mind will always be one step ahead, anticipating what's next and being able to head off problems.

If you are questioning whether it is healthy, it sounds like somehow you think it is not, or it is not working for you.
What is your pay-off for constantly searching, learning, consuming ?
Think about it for a moment, why do you do this? Then scroll down.

I would suggest that while searching you get a little intellectual 'rush' each time. Fine if that is all you are looking for. But if you are looking to make a living out of your passions or contribute to something in your own unique way, which I think every person on the planet needs to feel in some way, continual searching enables you not to committ to 'produce' or 'master' any one thing. Committing to produce or master something requires more energy and puts your own self-esteem on the line and so it is scary.
Step out of your comfort zone!
Peace!

I can understand this 'pic & mix' intensity. It has its advantages & disadvantages EG having a wide experience at a lot of things, yet at the same time never understanding them fully as you scratch the surface and are 'off' to the next thing.
I don't think that there is anything wrong with it, the question is do you feel 'satisfied' when you finish with something?
If not, then there could be 'regrets' later.

I have read some where the words by Arvindo
"search, search for truth, what ever the price you have to pay.
Loose every thing if you need to loose, for insearch of truth.
But don't loose the search for truth, for anything".
When one searches one finds.
You will meet many on the way.
Just be honest with yourself, remain open and receptive
and help will come to you when you need.
listen to yourself.
You are all right. Eat healthy food, some exercise.
Rest all is ok.
keep on moving. don't stuck some where, that is death.
good luck

Searching for answers is fine, and there is no ultimate goal to reach, but don't get too caught up with the search. Take time out to appreciate what you have accomplished now and again or you end up exhausted and are unable to ask more questions.

Question is: are you happy and somewhat healthy without hurting other people in the process?
If so then I dont see anything wrong with it. However if this behavior is hurting yourself or others emotionally possibly physically then I'd say it is unhealthy.
Otherwise enjoy yourself. Life is short we should experience as much as possible before we pass away. You can never accumulate too much knowledge or experience in my opinion.

It is healthy. If one doesn't do this, you would get bored and boring!!!!!
Unless, you do this in your career. You can only have so many jobs until no one will hire you. It should not affect your relationship with people either. Do you see what I mean? It can be a valuable trait, depending on how you use it.
You spelled allways incorrectly, it is always.

Live life to the full. Its good to have a learner's heart and a craving for knowledge but without a deep reason why you do these things is pointless. Like playing darts without the bull's eye. A life without purpose is a journey without a destination.
