Campus jobs are always the most flexible, if you can get one. If its a large university, there are any number of different types of jobs you can work from the library, to fund raising, to registrations, etc.

try to get a job on campus as a teaching or research assistant.
or running a computer lab or working at the library or in a department office. on campus keeps you close to the academic environment and is convenient since you're there anyway plus you are hooked into the system you exist in...the university

A friend of mine worked in college as a painter. It was called "College Pro" and it's a company that hires people to run businesses as painters (outside painting I think was all they did).
He ran it as basically the head of the business as had people working for him. He made good money and worked mostly weekends and days off. Something to think about.

the best job to look for would be one that fits with your major so you can use it as experience and will have a better chance landing a good job after graduation
otherwise look for a night job as a waitress or bartender for the most income
if you are able to you can also make money being a tutor and it looks great on the resume

Day care. But only if you love kids. Or retail. Work in a record shop. It seems like it would be fun.
