It depends on what you want to do.
In 1967, when there were 200 million people in the US, only about 23 percent of Americans had a degree. This month as we passed the 300 million mark, nearly 60 percent of people have gone to college or a university.
Also, a recent study demonstrated that persons with a degree earn an average of $23,000 more than a person without a degree. And the same goes for a bachelor's degree versus an advanced degree.
If that's not enough, there is still a strong correlation between people who meet in college and persons married to each other!
In sum, if you want to be TV repairman or auto mechanic, save your money. If not, go to college!

A bachelor Degree is like a union card. It is considered entry level in a lot of professions, but it depends upon what you want to do with your life.
There are millionaires who don't even have a high school education. Most of you education will be obtained after you get out of school.
For Fields like Real Estate it is quite sufficient as it is for most fields of endeavor.
If you want to become a Teacher, you will need a Maters Degree. It is up to you, really. You can always take the extra education if necessary.
Would be nice to know your field of interest in order to give you a better answer. The differential for teachers with degrees do not make it worth the extra time out of your life to go for a phd. If you wish to Discuss it further I do permit Emails from my profile page. Just click on the Picture. I am a Professor, so I should be able to help you out more.

In many ways a bachelors degree is what high school was worth in the 1960s. It depends on your major. You can do fine with a bachelors degree in engineering. A masters is better in other fields.

A lot depends on the field you plan on going into. A recent study, however, conducted by the department of labor indicates that on average an individual with a bachelors degree will earn $28,000 more annually than a high school grad. An advanced degree boosts that number to over $50,000.

It seriously depends on the area of study. For example, to have a bachelor's degree in education won't pay as much as a Master's or doctorate in education degree. A bachelor's degree in Accounting can get you pretty far over time.

A Bachelor's degree is above average. It all depends on what you want to do. You may be over educated for some things and under educated for others.

It depends on where you are. The best person to tell you this is a career counsellor at your local university. In Canada, most jobs now require a master's degree.

I heard that master's degree is the one to go for but it depends on what you are in majoring in . I also heard that getting a doctorate's degree is kinda like committing suicide in the job market since they will consider you being overqualified.

depends on what you want out of life. if all you want is a good job, you may not even need that, but if you want to really succeed in life, go for a graduate degree
