Everybody's saying Tupac. Tupac wasn't all that. Ever listen to his album 2Pacalypse? The entire album is complete garbage. That's not a good rapper who puts out something like that, so NO, Tupac is not the best, not even close. Just because he's dead does not make him better then what he was.

I would say right now the bester rappers are between Cam'ron, Juelz Santana, Young Weezy(lil wayne) and maybe even Jeezy.

Jay-Z is very very good, but I think his best days are over now, but back in the day he was the best.

Luda is good too though. Nas was good a long time ago. Mobb Deep is real nice. People sleepin on that "get away" and "illest" by Mobb Deep. Those are straight up classics.

The HOTTEST and most underrated rapper is Ludacris!!!
I love Jay-Z and he's very clever but Luda is on another level.
Remy Ma is the best female rapper!
There's a tie between Keyshia Cole, Jaguar Wright, and Jennifer Hudson for best R&B vocal performance, but Faith Evan is the best R&B singer - hands-down!
And of course, I LOOOOOVE Usher.

r&b: Nicole Scherzinger, Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, for sexiness, but just Nicole, Mariah and Keyshia out of those for actual singing ability, lol.

All female rappers are disgusting with the exception of maybe Lauren Hill, nice to see one female rapper who talks about something other than how big her butt is, and who isn't a slutty gangsta skank. But the good don't last, Lauren only had one big album while skanks like Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj are so successful.

In my opinion, Corrine Bailey Rae for R&B singing. Very soulful, great songwriting from her personal experience rather that the usual run-of-the-mill stuff all the "hot" singers put out. Nobody stands out to me right now in rap, at least what's on the radio/TV. All of them are playing it safe, shooting for mainstream acceptance rather than finding their voice.
